Creekside Coverings is a family-owned outdoor living builder in Delaware, Ohio, established in 2022. Shawn brings more than 20 years of carpentry to every project. He hand-selects the materials, delivers them himself and is on site for every job we build.

Shawn's carpentry comes indoors for custom media walls, electric fireplaces, stone veneer and fireplace resurfacing, shiplap and board and batten, custom trim and woodwork, basement finishing and custom bars, mudroom built-ins and live edge bar tops.
Smart louvered pergolas
Open to the sun at noon, closed to the rain by two
A smart pergola can include motorized louvers you tilt with a remote, an app or your voice assistant, plus a rain sensor that closes the roof on its own, dimmable LED lighting, heaters or fans, and MagnaTrack screens that roll down when the bugs come out.

How it works
From the first walk around your yard to the final sweep
Most screened porches take one to two weeks to build. Larger projects like all-season rooms run four to six weeks. Permit approval is the biggest variable, and Shawn gives you a timeline at the first walkthrough.

Walk the yard with Shawn
Shawn comes out, looks at the house and the space, and talks through how you want to use it. You deal with the owner from the first visit.

See it before we build
We draw your project in 1D, 2D or 3D, so you can judge the size, roofline and finishes on your own house before any posts go in.

Permits and HOA, handled with you
We help with the permit application and your HOA approval package, and we schedule the inspections.

Built by the owner’s crew
Shawn hand-selects the materials, delivers them himself and is on site for every job. The work is covered by our 5-year workmanship warranty.

How long does an outdoor living project take?
Most screened porches take one to two weeks. Larger builds like all-season rooms can take four to six weeks. Shawn gives you a timeline at the first walkthrough, and permit approval time is the biggest variable.
Do you handle permits and HOA approval?
Yes. We help with permit applications and HOA approval packages, arrange the inspections and build to local code. Renderings of your project make the HOA review easier.
Can I see the design before you build it?
Yes. We offer 1D, 2D and 3D renderings, so you can see the size, roofline and finishes on your own house before any posts go in the ground.
What warranty comes with the work?
Our workmanship is covered for five years from completion. Materials carry their manufacturer warranties, and smart pergolas and motorized screens are covered by Anchor or MagnaTrack directly. Storm and weather damage is not covered.
Can you add on to a deck or patio I already have?
Yes. We build new from the ground up and we also work with existing structures, like enclosing a deck, adding a pergola to a patio or reworking stairs and landings.
Do you offer any discounts?
Military members and first responders get 10% off. Mention it when you schedule your estimate. It cannot be combined with other offers.
